A Social Media Traffic Guide for ADPIRO Publishers

Understand accepted social traffic, place advertising links clearly and avoid promotion methods that can put your account at risk.

ADPIRO social traffic guide: eligible sources, clear descriptions and voluntary clicks.

Sharing a Direct Link starts with a simple question: does your audience understand what they are choosing to open? ADPIRO accepts genuine social media traffic, and clear placement helps visitors make that choice.

This guide covers eligible sources, practical link placement and the traffic methods publishers must avoid.

Use eligible social media placements

Accepted sources include social posts, profiles, video descriptions, groups and channels. You must own the placement or have permission to share there. A group administrator's permission does not replace the social platform's own rules; both still apply.

For example, you might place a clearly labelled advertising link in your own social channel or an allowed area of a social profile. Whether a particular platform permits that placement depends on its current rules. ADPIRO approval does not override those rules or guarantee that a platform will accept a link.

The Publisher Policy limits the programme to social media traffic. Website or blog placements, search traffic, email campaigns, non-social apps, pop-ups and traffic exchanges are outside that scope.

Describe the destination honestly

A Direct Link opens a third-party advertising destination. Your post should make that clear before someone clicks. Do not disguise it as a required account check, a guaranteed reward, an official system message or a download that you cannot verify.

A short description such as "Advertising link — opens a third-party offer" is clearer than an unexplained button. Adapt the wording to your audience and placement while keeping the meaning accurate. Do not promise a specific offer unless you can support that claim.

Give visitors a real choice. Avoid forced redirects, hidden click areas or misleading instructions that make opening an ad seem necessary to use unrelated content.

Keep your links organised

In Direct Links, give each link a name that describes its intended placement. "Community channel" and "Video profile" are easier to compare than several similar names.

Use the Copy action when preparing a post. If you use separate Direct Links for separate placements, you can select those links individually in Statistics. That helps you review performance without guessing which link you shared.

Compare the same date range when reviewing two placements. Different audience sizes, dates and country mixes can produce different results. A higher number of visits alone does not establish higher payable earnings.

Avoid artificial traffic

Do not use bots, click farms, paid-to-click services, traffic exchanges or incentives intended to manufacture activity. Do not repeatedly open your own link to increase its count or ask others to do so.

Spam, deceptive content and unauthorised sharing can also put your account at risk. Traffic that fails review may be excluded from reporting or earnings. Account approval is permission to participate under the rules, not blanket approval for every promotion method.

If you plan a major change to your audience source or promotion method, contact support before making the change. The Prohibited Traffic Policy provides the full restrictions.

Check these points before posting

  • The placement is on social media and you have permission to use it.
  • The platform allows this type of advertising link in that placement.
  • The description tells visitors that they will open an advertising destination.
  • Clicking is voluntary, without misleading rewards or forced actions.
  • You copied the intended Direct Link and can identify it in your account.

After sharing, use the publisher reporting guide to interpret the results. If you have not opened an account yet, follow the getting started guide.
